Lighting and Mirrors in an Entryway Tampa Bay Homes for Sale

Whether you’re buying a house for sale in Belleair Beach, a condo in Brandon, or a golf course home in Odessa, you’ll want the entryway to look its best—and you can do that by adding the appropriate lighting and strategically placing mirrors in the right spots.

Lighting and Mirrors in the Entryway

Ideally, you’ll be able to put your entryway lights on a dimmer. If not, though, you can use table lamps with different settings to create a welcoming glow. If there’s no room for table lamps or free-standing lamps, wall sconces are always a safe bet.

Overhead Fixtures

Installing a pendant lamp or chandelier can make a big impression on your guests (and add a lot of panache to the space). You want to hang it at least 7 feet from the floor and make sure it’s clear of the door, though.

Mirrors

If you’re not sure what kind of mirror would be best in your entryway, go big. The bigger, the better—it’s dramatic and attractive. You can match the mirror’s frame to the table you have in the entryway or you can mix things up; it’s just a matter of personal preference.
