Apollo Beach Recreation Center
Over 22 acres full of recreational bliss awaits you. Work on your beach body at the state-of-the-art weight training facility, observe the beautiful local scenery or even bring your four-legged friends for a romp with their pals at the dog park.
Apollo Beach Skate Park
Open since 2012, the Apollo Beach Skate Park offers you the chance to shred in the sun. Skateboarders and rollerbladers of all experience levels are always welcome. The Skate Park has an 11,000-square-foot, realistic street course that was designed by professional skaters.
Admission is free, and they’re open every day except Monday.
Manatee Viewing Center
In the winter, when the water gets cooler, hundreds of manatees migrate through Apollo Beach. Locals love to observe the behaviors of manatee, fish, stingrays and wild birds in their natural habitats. The Manatee Museum has fascinating bone exhibits and fun puzzles, and the award-winning butterfly garden is a spectacular place to spend an afternoon.
