2018 Downtown Tampa Holiday Boat Parade of Lights Saturday
The annual Downtown Tampa Holiday Boat Parade of Lights is this Saturday. You can watch the video above from a previous year to see what it’s all about.
Come watch over 100 decorated boats sail down Seddon Channel. The boats will be between Harbour and Davis Islands on the Hillsborough River before heading over to Sparkman Wharf.
The best places to watch the boats areas are between Armature Works and the Tampa Convention Center.
The Downtown Tampa Holiday Lighted Boat Parade starts at 6:30pm and goes until 9pm.
According to the webpage, there’s still time to enter your boat into the parade. It’s $50 per boat to participate. Hurry though! Time is running out!
There will be two categories for boats: Motor boats and sail boats. From each category, a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place award will be handed out.
