Big Cat Rescue: Tour This Amazing Feline Sanctuary
Tampa’s Big Cat Rescue is a cat lover’s dream outing. We recently discussed the top three family outing destinations in Tampa, but that was for the general population. For cat lovers, Big Cat Rescue is the ideal adventure. At this animal sanctuary, you’ll learn all about tigers, cougars, lynx, bobcats, snow leopards, and even cats that only feel like big cats on the inside: your everyday house cats.
Big Cat Rescue
This sanctuary cover 67 acres and houses 100 animals. Fourteen species are housed at the Big Cat Rescue. You can take feeding or even night tours. Night tours are amazing, because it’s when the big cats are the most active.
Costs depend on the type of tour you go on and range from between $25 per person and $125 per person. You must reserve your tour in advance and pay upfront. For tour times and hours, check out the sanctuary’s website!
