Event: “Dino Zone” at the Glazer Children’s Museum

Long ago, great reptilian giants roamed the Earth, dominating the air, land, and sea. While it is a shame that such fascinating creatures died out sixty five million years ago, your children can experience firsthand the wonder and excitement of learning about these amazing creatures. Come on down to the Glazer Children’s Museum in Tampa! Located at 110 W Gasparilla Plaza, the museum is hosting an event known as the “Dino Zone” within its walls. This event is occurring all day, having started in early June, and will be ending on August the 12th. This event can be found on the second level of the museum.

In the Dino Zone, children will be encouraged to learn and ask questions about the largest animals to ever walk on our planet. There will be several activities to keep them entertained should they get bored of that, however. They will be able to follow the adventures of one Otto, a friendly Tyrannosaurus Rex, and learn about his life as the metaphorical king of the dinosaurs. If stories aren’t their favorite, then perhaps rebuilding a velociraptor might be more their speed, or even tracing out the bones of a long fossilized dinosaur could prove more entertaining.

Regardless of what draws them there, the pop-up exhibit of the Dino Zone is sure to be a fun experience for the young paleontologists out there.
