Event: “Grown Up Night” at the Glazer Children’s Museum

Being an adult might seem fun to a child, but we all know that it’s not. We all wanted to grow up, and many adults find that they wish they could be a child again. That wish comes true at the Glazer Children’s Museum in Tampa, with their “Grown Up Night.” On the Friday of August 24th, adults are clear to be a kid again from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM for just $25 at the door. So, head on down to the GCM, located at 110 W. Gasparilla Plaza, for the time of your life. Due to the nature of beverages served during this event, the minimum age to participate is 21.

For the entire evening, adults will be allowed to climb, jump, and play in the exhibits that all seemed fun, but were normally restricted to children. If that isn’t good enough, there will be various toys that many enjoyed through their childhood, such as slinkies and hula-hoops that many people just don’t have time for anymore. Still, don’t think that being a kid again means that all the fun of being an adult is left out! Beer and snacks will be provided for as long as they last. Plus, you can buy more from the bar all evening! There will be no limit to the childish fun that can be had there, barring the time constraints of course.

The Glazer Children’s Museum may normally be a place for children; however, the adults will be taking over to have fun for themselves on that day. Still, if it seems to be over too quickly, don’t worry, because a similar event will be occurring November 9th.
