Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural deodorizer, which means you can spritz it in smelly sneakers, dog beds, or anywhere germs accumulate and then let it do its magic. Interestingly enough, the vinegar smell dissipates after a bit and you are left with just a fresher area.
If you have a fruit fly problem, place some apple cider vinegar in a small jar and your fruit flies will automatically be drawn to them. Dump the apple cider vinegar and replace with fresh at least once a day until your fruit fly problem is eradicated.
ACV is excellent at getting rid of pesticides and bacteria on fruits and vegetables. Rinse them off in clean water before you cut or peel them in order to avoid any taste or scent distortion.
You can use ACV as a weed killer and it won’t harm animals or people. A mixture of 50/50 cut with water is adequate to kill all weeds. Make sure you don’t get any on flowers, plants or grass that you don’t want to destroy. It may take a stronger solution to kill bigger and hardier weeds and plants like poison ivy.
