Kitchen Cupboard Staging Tips

Kitchen Cupboard Staging Tips - tampa bay homes for sale

When your home is on the market, whether you have a golf course home for sale in Brandon, a condo for sale in New Port Richey, or a waterfront home for sale in Belleair Beach, buyers are going to come see it – and when they do, they’re going to look in every nook and cranny to see if it’s right for them.

They’re even going to open your kitchen cupboards.

Kitchen Cupboard Staging Tips

First things first: clean out all the excess in your kitchen cupboards. If you have appliances, pots and pans, or other kitchen items you haven’t used in the past 6 months, take them out of your cupboards and consider donating them, selling them, or throwing them away. What are the chances – honestly – that you’re going to use them again while your home is on the market? (Probably slim to none, so let it go!)

Make sure each cupboard has a purpose. One for spices and non-perishables, one for canned goods, one for plates, one for glasses… you get the picture.

Group like items, too (so make sure the bowls that match are together, as are the coffee mugs and so on). The more aesthetically pleasing you can make your cupboards, the better. Buyers like to see things neat and tidy because it’s an indicator that you’ve taken care of the home.
