All you have to do is search the address, folio number or owner name on the Public Property Record on the Hillsborough County Property Appraiser’s webpage using this link. Get the lien OR Book and Page on the Hillsborough County Clerk of the Circuit Court’s webpage using this link. Fill out the form in writing on the Public Utilities Department using this link.
See, it’s quite simple. Then, the Public Utilities Department should give you a formal response within three business days for any inquiries where an actual lien recording was verified. If an Instrument number and Book or Page has been assigned in the Public Record, you’ll see the lien payoff response. Any other inquiries, like debt payoff requests may take more time though.
