TamPiz is described by one Yelp user as a “little hidden gem” located at 113 South Hyde Park Avenue in downtown Tampa, and also offers pizza and other Italian dishes, but also food with a French Flair. Something for everyone at TamPiz – boasting fresh mozzarella and French pastries made daily, there’s a dish and a price range for everyone. It has over 100 reviews and 4.5 star rating on Yelp.

Forbici Modern Italian is at 1633 West Snow Avenue in downtown Tampa, and it has only been open a couple weeks, but has reviewers raving over the Cacio e Pepe and their Moscow Mules. It is trendy and completely remodeled with a fresh urban appeal and a lively environment. Don’t be intimidated by the trendiness, though – the old Italian standbys of Eggplant Parmesan and lasagna are available as well is Pinot Noir, perfect for a first date!
