ZooTampa at Lowry Park comes alive with animals and reptiles native to Florida, but many other animals, as well, including giraffes, rhinos, zebras, and lots of birds! It even has an area that is devoted to Australian wildlife for those wishing for a peak of The Outback. This zoo has been rated #1 for families by Parents magazine, and the zoo is a 56-acre non profit facility that is dedicated to giving the animals the habitats they deserve. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is African themed, so it’s a wild safari adventure with even wilder rides! It has six famous jaw-dropping rollercoasters for the daredevils amongst us, and plenty of peaceful land to observe some exotic creatures in an environments that allows park-goers to handfeed kangaroos! There’s also a railway that the old and young alike will enjoy that takes them on a scenic journey of all the animals, complete with several scrumptious restaurants nestled in one amazing theme park.
