Provisional Ballots In Pasco County

If you lost your ID, You can still vote. Actually, you can’t be turned away just because you forgot your ID. That’s state law, so if the election official tries to say that you can’t vote at all, ask for a provisional ballot. Don’t leave the polling location, this is your only chance to vote in this election.

If you vote with a provisional ballot, your canvassing board will later compare your signature on the provisional ballot with the signature on your voter registration record. When it’s clear that your signatures match, your provisional ballot will be counted.

There are a number of other iffy scenarios that people might not be aware of either. Since you only have one chance to vote, if you want to vote, but are turned away, check in with this informational page offered by the Secretary of State.
