Water Street Tampa’s Two Office Towers

This week, a pair of towers was unveiled in downtown Tampa. The 19-story and 20-story office towers are the first office buildings of their magnitude in decades!

Before long, another 180,000 square feet of loft-style offices, soon to be named “Sparkman Wharf” will also be coming on the market. In all, about a million square feet of Class A office space will be added to the Tampa market. Construction on the Sparkman Wharf office space should start in November and be be primarily where the former movie theaters at Channelside Bay Plaza stood. That should be finished by the summer of 2020.

Plus, a 20-story building is planned at 1001 Water Street near the new medical building. That tower won’t be finished until the second quarter of 2021 though.

Currently,  Class A vacancy rates are at a record low not seen in two decades!
