If you’re buying a home for sale in Tampa Bay, you’ll probably need a mortgage loan to do it (most people do). In order for a lender to approve you for a loan, you’ll have to meet what are known as borrower conditions.
But what are borrower conditions, and how do you meet them?
What Are Borrower Conditions?
Borrower conditions are conditions you must meet in order for the lender to let you borrow money to buy a house. Some borrower conditions include:
- Prior to documents conditions. These conditions mean you’ll need more documentation before the underwriter can determine whether you qualify.
- Prior to funding conditions. These are documents you’ll have to send the underwriter before the lender will issue funds, like things you need to sign (they don’t usually affect your ability to qualify for the loan; these conditions are typically reserved for procedural matters).
