What is Tampa Beer Week?
After that pop quiz on Tampa Bay beer festivals, we didn’t want to exclude Tampa Bay Beer Week. It’s not a festival, it’s more like a conglomeration of festivals. Unfortunately, it’s not coming up any time soon. Still, if you’re not sure when to put in time for a vacation at work, and you love beer, consider requesting the second week in March off of work now.
Tampa Bay Beer Week kicks off on the first Saturday of March each year. Then, it ends eight days later. Now, what is coming up though, is the annual mid-year festival. That’s know as “Halfway There.” Halfway There is the major fundraising event for the next year’s Tampa Bay Beer Week! That event takes place in September!
Tampa Bay Beer Week
Tampa Bay Beer Week became a thing in 2012. More than 750 events involving TBBW have taken place since. The week is full of large-scale festivals and small beer tastings. It features beer dinners and much more. Tampa Bay Beer Week has played an important part in the growth of the craft beer community within Tampa Bay.
Look, if you love craft beer, Tampa Bay Beer Week alone is enough reason to move here!
